Krajem listopada otvorili smo online anketu za učenike i
roditelje učenika naše škole kojom smo htjeli ispitati upućenost naše školske
zajednice o projektu Migration i očekivanja od projekta. Anketa je bila
otvorena do kraja studenoga i na nju je odgovorilo 126 učenika i 57 roditelja
projekt pozitivnom.
njihova djeca tijekom projekta mogla najviše razvijati odabrali: upoznavanje
drugačijih kultura, razvoj tolerancije(uvažavanje različitosti) i komunikaciju
na engleskom jeziku. Najmanji napredak roditelji očekuju iz područja uporabe
računalne tehnologije, a učenici u komunikaciji na maternjem jeziku
.
stvaranje mirnijeg i pravednijeg svijeta, sport, pomaganje drugima, gospodarski
odnosi u svijetu i ovisnosti suvremenog doba.
Parents and students about the project
At the end of October we opened an online survey for students and parents of our school who wanted to examine our school community's awareness of the Migration project and project expectations. The survey was open by the end of November and was answered by 126 students and 57 parents of our school students.
The survey showed that at the moment of replying to the questions, a large percentage of students (91.2%) and parents (84.2%) knew about the inclusion of the school in the Migrations project and almost all (94.4% 7% - parents) consider inclusion of the school into a positive project. Parents rated the expected benefit of the students with a high percentage - as to whether the international character of the project enriches their child's education experience 96.5% answered yes and did they think the project would be beneficial to their child 93 % of parents responded with "yes" while 84.8% of the students agreed with a similar statement (I think the project would be useful to me).
The students have estimated that the project will most effectively develop communication skills in English, collaborate with other pupils and teachers in the school and introduce other cultures; Parents are the three areas where their children could most successfully develop during the project: getting to know different cultures, developing tolerance (appreciating diversity) and communicating in English. The smallest progress parents expect from the field of use of computer technology, and pupils in communication in mother tongue.
From activities now planned in this school year, parents and students were able to mark those who want to participate (ie where they want their children to participate). Both parents and students showed the greatest interest in learning words or sentences in the languages of partner countries in the project, food presentations, clothing, culture, etc., countries from which migrants come, and participation in quizzes and debates on migration.
The last two questions related to possible future international projects - 94.7% of parents and 92.7% of students would like to have a school in the future and to be a participant in international projects, and as possible themes they would like to develop critical thinking, create a more peaceful world, sport, helping others, economic relations in the world, and addictions of the modern age.
